When can I close Sukanya Samriddhi Account prematurely?

Only the following two situations allow for the premature closing of a Sukanya Samriddhi Account:

1. In the event that the depositor or girl child dies.
2. If money is needed to treat the potentially death-threatening illness of the girl child.
