Employees who have completed a minimum period of 5 years in an organization are eligible to receive gratuity upon leaving, which could be due to retirement, resignation, or other reasons.
In case of death or disability due to illness or accident, the condition of 5 years is not applicable (i.e. means he can receive gratuity even if he has not completed the service for 5 years or more)
