How do I correct errors in my PAN card data or update my personal information on my PAN card?

Updating PAN Online

There are 2 websites given by the government for updating your PAN card details via online method :

1) NSDL (now Protean) website- www.onlineservices.nsdl.com/paam/endUserRegisterContact.html​

2) UTIITSL portal-  www.pan.utiitsl.com/csf.html

You can proceed with following steps -

• Visit any of the said websites
  
• Click on "Change/Correction in PAN" option on the website
• Fill the necessary details along with any attachment required as a proof of change
• Make payment of the prescribed fees via online payment options available
• Keep the ticket no./acknowledgement for future references.

​Updating PAN Offline​

Further, you can also update your details on PAN card offline. You can proceed with following steps - 

• Download the offline PAN card correction form from NSDL or UTIITSL website
• Duly fill the offline form and affix a photograph
• Submit the signed copy to the nearest PAN center along with all the supporting documents
  
• Make payment of the prescribed fees
• Keep the ticket no./acknowledgement for future references.
